25 year old Russell Holland has come through the ranks to become one of Australia's bright hopes in World Supersport Racing.
Heralding from the country town of Marulan near Goulburn in NSW, Russell started racing at 14 years of age aboard a Moriwaki 80cc Junior road bike.
 
Australian Superbike Championship Runner Up in 2006, Russell moved to the world stage in 2008.
Beginning the year in World Superbike and scoring points four times in the first half of the season with a best of 9th at Phillip Island his home race. Mid season Russell had the chance to race in Supersport after his Superbike team collapsed. In the remaining 7 races he achieved a best of 7th place at Bruno, Czech Republic.
 
The outlook for 2009 is very promising under the Echo CRS Honda Team. The Echo CRS Team is based in Milan, Italy and has competed in World Supersport for the past 3 seasons.
 
With the support of a new title sponsor in Echo Engineering and 2 new riders, myself Russell Holland and Fabrizio Lai, the Echo CRS team is looking forward to consistently finishing in the Top 10 in 2009.
